Hi, My name is Monica,
and I am a stress/emotional eater.
It's true yall. 
I have officially gained 6 lbs since this semester started.
Like it's getting a tad ridiculous.
I like to come home and eat everything in sight.
And then sit down and get all my work done, and maybe have a snack while im doing that.
What's happening to me?!?! 
Since my own will power obviously isnt doing the trick,
I've gotta make a change & do something to get myself healthy & happy again.
There's this thing called Shakeology.

Have any of you heard of it?
It's basically a meal replacement shake, that's super delicious, and is really good for you.
I know a lot of people that have used it and say it's the greatest thing ever.
Well, I broke down and just ordered it.
I have the biggest sweet tooth in the world.
That is not an exaggeration by the way.
I have been known to eat an entire gallon of ice cream in one day,
and still want more.
This little shake, stops sweet cravings, TASTES like ice cream,
AND it has tons of nutrients and amazing healthy things for my body.
It's definitely worth the money to me.
It's a little pricey, but if you think about it, it's really just $4 a day for a meal.
I'm going to try it out for a month and see if I like it & if it's really for me,
They say you see better results if you work out,
obviously that's another area where i'm slacking,
I may not be working out every day, but I can get myself to the gym every once in a while.
I'm REALLY excited about this.
I'm excited that I'm going to have a yummy shake to have for dinner every night,
that's actually healthy and fueling my body with nutrients and all those other good things!
I'm excited that I'm doing something good for myself & my health.
Even though it was really hard for me to type my credit card # in and press "place order".
I know that this is going be perfect for me,
especially with my schedule right now.
I dont necessarily need to lose a lot of weight,
I just want to make healthier decisions,
and I really think this is a great way to start.
Weeeeee! I cant wait for it to get here!

  1. I tend to eat a lot when I'm bored or stressed. Even when I'm full, I'll catch myself browsing the pantry for food... not good! Lately I've been drinking the Naked juice smoothies and they help a lot. With these, I should still be able to fit into my wedding dress when it comes time lol

  3. Let us know how you like the shakeology! I've heard some other people love it! I also eat a lot at night which is my downfall:( My prob is I love both salty AND sweet snacks - so I NEED both:( Good luck!

  4. I think that's everyone's story from student teaching. The constant eating is how I've gained weight every time it's happened. It's not like it's just the wrong foods; it's eating EVERYthing. I hope Shakeology works. I've heard good things about it too!

    Im the same way with eating then finding myself not long after snacking on something. I get awful heartburn from eating that late almost everytime and yet I continue to do it. Havent learned yet. ahahah

  8. I have that issue at times too! It's because us teachers are walking around all day burnin' those calories!

  9. I want to know how this goes! They look yummy and if they're nutritious that's a major plus. If they leave you full and not full of cravings that's even better! Good luck!

  11. Welcome to my life girlfriend! Since dating Matt...I have gained 15 lbs! FIFTEEN!! You know why?! Because of his parents (well, me too...since I am the one eating the meals and desserts). We go over there like 3 times a week and they have huge country cooked meals and dessert after every.single.meal. Once I gained the weight...there was no stopping! I'm the same way...I need a healthy change. Let me know how it works out for ya!! <3
