We ate breakfast, opened presents, (lots of great ones),
then relaxed a little bit, then ate a HUGE lunch!
Chicken spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and a ton of desserts!
Mmm that chicken spaghetti was seriously to die for,
I'm pretty sure I had 3 servings.
I'm sure I'll post a recipe eventually for y'all.

Heres one of my favorite presents...
Eeeeee thanks sissy!

This is going to be perrrrrrfect for my wedding.
Now I just need to learn how to apply eye shadow….

Well I hope everyones Christmas was spent with loved ones!
I spent the last 3 days with Kyles (dads) side of the family, then mine,
now we're heading over to Kyle's moms side!
<3 <3 <3

A day in the life of a future housewife.. JK but seriously.

Every week I head on over to mine and Kyles home to cook a nice meal for him!
There's only 53 days left until we are officially married,
Therefore I need to get all of the cooking practice I can get!
I am SO happy because this recipe I found on Pinterest was actually DELICIOUS.
I've cooked him many meals with recipes I've found on Pinterest and they aren't always that great.
But this one…..I'm SO excited to share!

It's funny when you start realizing that you're actually growing up..
I realized it yesterday when I voluntarily scrubbed all of our toilets.
I headed to the grocery store to get all of the groceries we needed for dinner,
got back to the house and did the dishes that were left over from Kyle's
dinner the night before, then lit some candles so it smelt nice in the house,
then randomly decided to go scrub all of the toilets…
So of course after I realized all that I had just done I got myself a glass of wine,
and waited patiently for my fiancé to get home!

One thing I'm really thankful for is that I get to work from home,
So I won't technically be a housewife,
but I will be a wife, that's at home the majority of the day..(working of course)
soooooo kind of.
But that makes it SO much easier to cook, I have more energy,
and more time to get things done!

Once Kyle got home we decided to take a little stroll around the neighborhood before I started cooking.
The weather was SO gorgeous yesterday so we figured why not get to know
our new neighborhood a little better?!

It was perfect because we went just as the sun was going down!
It was a pretty quick walk though because it started getting colder and colder,
and he was starving.

SO now it's time I share with y'all one of my new favorite recipes!
I am by NO means a cook, I'm actually awful at cooking,
so this was a HUGE accomplishment that this turned out so good!
The recipe I found was for the fish only and it was for 4 people so I just cut it in half…
Here we go!
Here's a picture of everything you'll need.

I decided to have asparagus and garlic bread with ours, but obviously you can choose whatever your heart desires!

Recipe (for 2):
2 teaspoons of garlic minced
a little more than 1/3 cup light olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
2 fillets salmon
garlic bread

Place the fish in a glass pan lined with foil
Stir mixture of garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley in a small bowl
Lightly coat the fish with butter
Then drizzle the mixture over the fish
Cover fish with foil
then bake in over on 375 for 25-30 minutes.
(I also threw the garlic bread in the over for about 15 minutes)

We cooked our asparagus on the stove,
just throw 'em on there we love to use spray butter and parmesan
(kind of ruins the healthiness but whatever)

It was seriously SO yummy, I was one proud girl!
After/During dinner we watched our new favorite show
OMG have y'all watched it?! So good and so addicting!!!

Y'all let me know if you try this recipe,
It's so easy and delicious!

Happy Wednesday!

VS fashion show!

V neck: UrbanOutfitters.com
Jeans: Thrifted
Booties: LuLus.com
Jacket: Target
Scarf: ShopMCE.com

Last night was spent eating ice cream and watching VS angels strut their
stuff on the runway in close to nothing.
and I loved it.
The VS fashion show is definitely one of my favorites!
Last year I was disappointed because some of the models looked WAY too skinny, like unhealthy.
But this year, geez they all looked gorgeousssssss!
I headed over to my friend Liz's apartment to watch the show with some girlfriends,
Of course we all had our different opinions.
I think it's funny that some people truly think that if someone looks that good
then "OH they definitely had some work done"
I'm not saying that none of them have ever had any type of work done.
(I honestly don't think many of them have though, if any at all)
But I think it's silly to assume that they have just because they are thin and extremely toned.
Hello, it's called diet and the right form of exercise people!!
(and I'm sure they all have great genes)
Needless to say, they all looked absolutely beautiful!
And I want every single one of those outfits.
I also thought the musical performances were SO GOOD,
Taylor did an awesome job!

Here are a few of my favorites from the night…

What did you think about this years show?!

First Christmas Tree Shopping!

Black Piko Top: ShopMCE.com
Jacket: ShopMCE.com
Scarf: gift
Jeans: ShopMCE.com
Boots: Forever21.com

This Saturday Kyle and I FINALLY went to get a Christmas tree!
His dad was in town for his brothers basketball games so he went with us to pick it out :]
We got there and of course I liked all of the expensive ones….
Here's Kyle taking a peek at the price tag…"Nope, not happening"

We ended up finding the PERFECT little tree for our house!
We don't have many open corners in the house where we can put it,
so this was the absolute perfect size for the spot we decided to put it in!
Gosh, I can't wait to marry this kid.
Having a house is seriously SUCH a tease!

After picking out a tree we had to rush home to drop it off and then head to
Kyle's brothers basketball game!
Of course I made Kyle make a quick stop on the way….

This is my absolute weakness…
Stuffed crust pepperoni from Pizza hut.
Oh Lord, help me I could eat the whole box in one sitting!

After shoving a few pieces in my mouth we headed off to Bryans basketball game,
which was a REALLY good game actually!
And afterwards we all went to Fudruckers to eat….
Geez this whole "eating healthy" thing really isn't for me is it?!

Basketball, Shopping, and Weddings

Sweater: ShopMCE.com
Scarf: ShopMCE.com
Jeans: Kohls.com
Boots: Forever21.com

Well, it's basketball season!
Which means mine and Kyle's weekends are usually spent at his brothers games!
And I'm definitely not complaining, it's always fun to see him play and this is his last year.
So we better enjoy it while we can!

I am so proud of myself, I have been rocking SO much MCE lately!
You would think I was a boutique owner or something ;]
Justttttt kidding, I am one!
I think I wore ShopMCE outfits every single day this weekend.
Go ME!

I've been a little all over the place lately,
wedding planning is exhausting, and stressful, and exciting, and fun,
and a bunch of other emotions!
Can't believe there's only 62 days left until I'm a WIFE!
Woah, that's crazy.
Speaking of planning, I need to go figure out what I want my cake to look like!
I'm thinking something simple with some pretty flowers on top…
Now for the grooms cake I have NO clue, Kyle could care less.
He's not much of a sweets person, he said he doesn't even need a grooms cake!
Butttttt I think he needs one.
I just haven't really loved any that I've seen? I don't think I'm a big fan of like the themed ones.
What do y'all think?!
What are some of the best grooms cakes you've seen??

My Favorite Outfit and a Few of My Favorite People

Sweater: ShopMCE.com
Jeans: Kohls
Boots: Forever21
Scarf: thrifted

So I know you're thinking…
"uhhhh, that's your favorite outfit?"
well let me explain why.
Yes, as of right now it is.
I wear those jeans just about every other day, they are seriously the BEST.
[Thanks Kohls]
Scarves are always great, especially this cute little floral one that I thrifted a LONG time ago!
These boots…omg these boots. I am in LOVE!!!
[Thanks Forever21]
and THIS sweater! It's the cutest and comfiest thing ever!
It's actually from my boutique but I haven't put it on the website yet!

So maybe this isn't THE best outfit, and maybe it's not actually my
FAVORITE but it's still great, in my eyes at least.

Over Thanksgiving break Kyle & I and a bunch of his cousins and our friends
decided to go bowling!
Is he just the cutest or what?!

Krissa, Rachel & I!

Krissa is Kyle's cousin, and one of my bridesmaids!
And Rachel is going to be making my bouquet and doing my hair!
I loveeeeee these girls to death!
After getting there we ended up spending the entire time at the bar
having girl talk and drinking long islands, it was actually REALLY fun
and we didn't miss the boys one bit! haha

I'm excited for Christmas break when we all get to hang out again,
It's always fun when everyone's in town!

Y'all would be so proud of me,
At least once a week I go over to our house and cook Kyle and I dinner!
Sometimes even twice!
Woohooooo! Maybe I can handle this whole being a wife thing,
Okay I know I can handle being a wife, it's the cooking every night that terrifies me..
But hey gotta start somewhere!! ;]
