Happy Halloween?

I completely forgot that today was Halloween…like completely.
I've been so busy wedding planning, and moving things into our new house
I'm surprised I even know what month it is!

So anyways...

I'm THAT girl that goes on a diet every Monday morning…
and then it usually ends around noon.
Diets have never been my thing…I know I don't need to lose weight so I'm not talking
about a food restricting diet, more like a healthy food diet!
Every time I tell myself "Okay, I'm really going to start eating better"
I devour every single fattening or unhealthy thing in the house because in my head I think,
"Well I might as well eat all of this junk so it doesn't tempt me later"
Does anyone else do this? No? Just me?!

I need to get it together.
I did find out that my gym (that I go to once a month)
has PILATES classes! Like with the pilates machines!
OMG I had a baby heart attack when I saw that, I have been dyinggggg
to go to a legit pilates class with the cool machines!
I took a picture of the schedule and I will definitely be going to those
multiple times a week! I'm pumped because I think what I really needed
was a good reason to go to the gym, now that there's something going on
that I will actually enjoy I think I'll go more often.
fingers crossed.

Kyle and I took a bunch of things to our new house last night,
it's SO exciting knowing that that's going to be OUR little home together in just a few months.

I got home this morning to a fridge full of my favorite pizza…
stuffed crust pepperoni…Lord help me.
if I hadn't received an email this morning that
I probably would've eaten all of it.

I hope all of you have a wonderful and SAFE halloween!

Go check out all of the cute animal prints I just got in stock>>>

Yeah...I really own that.

If y'all don't know Ashley from TwentiesGirlStyle you're missing out.
She's the cutest little thing with the most amazing blog where she shares her incredible
taste of fashion!

Now let's talk about how she's a genius...
Every month she invites bloggers to share a
"Yeah...I really own that" piece of clothing.
What in the world is a "Yeah...I really own that" piece of clothing??
Well, here is how Ashley describes it....

"What is a “Yeah…I really own that” piece you might ask? It is a piece of clothing that you purchased at some point in time and are not really sure why. At the time of purchase it seemed like a great idea, but eventually you forget all of the reasons why/how it made its way into your closet and are left with only feelings of buyer's remorse or embarrassment. You would think these would be the first things to go when you have a major closet purge, but for some reason or another you just can’t let them go."

So today I'm guest posting over on Ashleys blog
& sharing my YIROT piece!

This girl said YES to a very special dress.

This weekend was SO much fun.
I FINALLY got to ask all my bridesmaids to officially be my bridesmaids lol
Saturday Kyles mom, sister, and cousin came down to go dress shopping with me!
As well as my mom and sister (duh)

We had such a good time!
I tried on a few different styles and everyone fell in love with
this one particular dress.
It was not the style I had ever imagined myself in, but I couldnt help but love it
because of how everyone re-acted when they saw me in it!
I also kept remembering everyone saying
"you'll be surprised, most people fall in love with something completely different than they imagined"
We went to 2 different bridal shops and this dress was by far everyones favorite.
I left thinking that that dress MAY be the one I'm walking down the aisle in.
After I got home I kept second guessing that dress and looking through
all of the pictures we took of me in all of the other dresses.
Something just didn't feel right.
The dress was absolutely STUNNING, and I did feel beautiful in it.
But it just didn't feel like me.
I think I was so in love with the way everyone re-acted that I felt like
that one just HAD to be it, even though I didn't feel 100% confident in it.
I thought about it, and slept on it.
And I just had such an uneasy feeling that I knew I needed to keep looking.
The next night my mom and I went back to one of the stores,
because this one specific dress kept popping into my head.
I put it on, walked around, stared in the mirror, and just KNEW.
It felt like me, it looked like me, it was MY dress.
I feel like Kyle will love this one more than any of the other ones I tried on too.
So, after walking around in it and staring at myself in it for about 30-45 minutes
I FINALLY said yes and decided it was THE ONE.
It feels like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders now!
I am beyond excited and can't wait to see Kyle's face when he sees me in it.
and I CANT wait to show y'all either!!!

Leather Skirts and Love.

Crop Top: TJ Maxx
Leather Skater Skirt: Asos
Bow Belt: Kate Spade
Sandals: Tobi

we kind of love each other.

I think I'm finally getting a hold of this whole wedding planning thing.
It's definitely stressful, but it's a fun kind of stress!

Mom and I went and looked at a venue yesterday...
Y'all...I fell in love immediately.
It's out of the budget but we are doing everything we can to lower the costs
on all of the little things in order to make it work.
So please please please keep your fingers crossed for me!

It's going to be an outside ceremony,
my biggest fear is bad weather though.
Lord only knows what can happen in Houston.
BUT I'm going to think positive and hope for the best!
I wanted to get married in March or April but we get a better deal at this venue
if I do it in February...so if all works out this girl is getting married during the month of love!

I have been SO dang busy.
Next weekend I'm going to look at dresses and I'm SO excited and nervous.
Okay, that's all for now I've got to get back to planning!!
This stuff is time consuming!
But I'm loving every minute of it.

Have a great weekend!!!!

Vacations are great Part II

My absolute favorite part of the vacation was when we went to Cozumel!
Why? you ask.

Because I got to play with my FAVORITE little animals in the whole wide world.

I don't think I stopped smiling or feeling like I was going to pee my pants the entire time.
It was seriously the coolest thing I have ever experienced
and I would DEF pay the money and do it again, totally worth it!

After swimming with the dolphins we decided to go watch some sea lion shows,
we had a little time to waste before the boys were done with their excursion!

It was SO much fun, we got to see all sizes do fun tricks and we laughed our butts off.
We finally headed back to port to meet the boys,
but were given a pretty little ticket that got us each 1 free margarita so we decided
to take full advantage while we waited!

Oh and we also sat at the biggest table I've ever seen in my life.

The boys FINALLY showed up and we decided to take some pics
before heading back to the boat!

Cozumel was SO pretty and SO much fun!
I seriously cannot wait to go back.
Hope y'all are enjoying my little vacation re-cap!
And yes, there will be a part III!
