A day in the life of a future housewife.. JK but seriously.

Every week I head on over to mine and Kyles home to cook a nice meal for him!
There's only 53 days left until we are officially married,
Therefore I need to get all of the cooking practice I can get!
I am SO happy because this recipe I found on Pinterest was actually DELICIOUS.
I've cooked him many meals with recipes I've found on Pinterest and they aren't always that great.
But this one…..I'm SO excited to share!

It's funny when you start realizing that you're actually growing up..
I realized it yesterday when I voluntarily scrubbed all of our toilets.
I headed to the grocery store to get all of the groceries we needed for dinner,
got back to the house and did the dishes that were left over from Kyle's
dinner the night before, then lit some candles so it smelt nice in the house,
then randomly decided to go scrub all of the toilets…
So of course after I realized all that I had just done I got myself a glass of wine,
and waited patiently for my fiancé to get home!

One thing I'm really thankful for is that I get to work from home,
So I won't technically be a housewife,
but I will be a wife, that's at home the majority of the day..(working of course)
soooooo kind of.
But that makes it SO much easier to cook, I have more energy,
and more time to get things done!

Once Kyle got home we decided to take a little stroll around the neighborhood before I started cooking.
The weather was SO gorgeous yesterday so we figured why not get to know
our new neighborhood a little better?!

It was perfect because we went just as the sun was going down!
It was a pretty quick walk though because it started getting colder and colder,
and he was starving.

SO now it's time I share with y'all one of my new favorite recipes!
I am by NO means a cook, I'm actually awful at cooking,
so this was a HUGE accomplishment that this turned out so good!
The recipe I found was for the fish only and it was for 4 people so I just cut it in half…
Here we go!
Here's a picture of everything you'll need.

I decided to have asparagus and garlic bread with ours, but obviously you can choose whatever your heart desires!

Recipe (for 2):
2 teaspoons of garlic minced
a little more than 1/3 cup light olive oil
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
2 fillets salmon
garlic bread

Place the fish in a glass pan lined with foil
Stir mixture of garlic, olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, parsley in a small bowl
Lightly coat the fish with butter
Then drizzle the mixture over the fish
Cover fish with foil
then bake in over on 375 for 25-30 minutes.
(I also threw the garlic bread in the over for about 15 minutes)

We cooked our asparagus on the stove,
just throw 'em on there we love to use spray butter and parmesan
(kind of ruins the healthiness but whatever)

It was seriously SO yummy, I was one proud girl!
After/During dinner we watched our new favorite show
OMG have y'all watched it?! So good and so addicting!!!

Y'all let me know if you try this recipe,
