Overwhelmed…In a good way.

Can y’all believe he FINALLY did it?!

I think I’m still in shock.

[Excuse my boy hands, I obviously wasnt expecting a proposal.]

THANK YOU THANK YOU

so much for all of the love!

We are both seriously so pumped.

I am so full of emotions you would think I was pregnant.

(I’m NOT)

One minute I can’t stop smiling, the next I’m crying, then I’m giggling uncontrollably.

I can’t believe that I finally get to put all of my wedding pins on pinterest to good use

Haha!

I am having one major dilemma though.

Maybe y’all can help?

For the past few months when I’ve been daydreaming about my wedding

I’ve pictured myself wearing a beautiful ball gown wedding dress…

but now that I actually get to pick a dress out I’m SO confused.

I have NO idea what style I want, obviously I’ll have a better idea once I try them on.

But I want y’alls opinions, what kind of dress can you picture me in?!

Ball Gown? Mermaid? Simple? Lace? Satin?

Go into full detail if you want, lol I need ALL the help I can get.

I’ve got a lotttttttttt of decisions to make soon,

but at least they are all fun decisions!

How has everyone been?!

Obviously, I’ve been pre-occupied with all of this craziness going on!

You just gotta go try on a bunch. I thought I wanted poofy Cinderella and ended up in a fitted mermaid. Congrats! =)

I agree with the girl before me, you have to try on all the styles to find out what you want. I always wanted the princess Kate style dress [before she got married, lil brat] but when I put it on it made me look matronly.

I also thought I wanted big and poofy, but went with a fit and flare mermaidesque look which I LOVE! I never expected to have flowers on my wedding dress, but it was absolutely perfect.

Make an appointment at david's bridal and just try on every style you can. That's what I did and it was the best decision ever!

And I agree with the girls. All my friends who got married, already knew what dress they wanted. And finally they didn't buy the dress they imagined because the fell in love with another one .
What am I trying to say is that you have to stay open to try every kind of wedding dress to find the perfect one, even if it is not in your Pins 😉
Show us some dresses you like (I love weeding dresses!!)
(Sorry for my bad english… Hope you understand…)

I thought I wanted ball gown. I was pretty dead set on it. But I knew the rules…go and try on every style. David's Bridal can be a little overwhelming and kind of pushy. So I made an appt at a really expensive high end boutique that I had no intentions of buying a dress from. The sole purpose of the appointment was to try on a gown of each style without all the craziness in the background (and I knew better than to let myself fall in love with a "dress"–I wasn't paying 10 grand. I focused SOLEY on the style). I went in with one idea and came out with a very clear decision on what style dress. I went armed to the bigger bridal (ult. discount) stores to search for a dress IN that style. Made things much less overwhelming! So excited for you!! You'd look great in a trash bag, so I'm sure you'll find a dress easy peasy!

go try on a million, and whenever one says love just go with it! I wanted something contemporary and unique, form fitting with sleeves. I went with a drop waist ball gown, drop waist and with feathers and lots of English netting! it just fit me the best and I was in love! Don't settle til you are IN love!

Aww I've been MIA. I am SO excited for you – CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

You know the dress I can see you in? The one your mom and sister cry when they see you in. 🙂 That's what happened with me, at least. 😉 That's when I knew. The one I picked wasn't necessarily one I thought I would be in.

Fitted mermaid with lace. Whatever you pick will look fab!

I have no experience trying on wedding dresses myself, but.. you have an awesome figure so of course something that would show that off would look awesome on you. A ballgown sometimes makes women look shorter than they are and doesn't always show off what awesome shapes they have. Just try on dresses that seem interesting to you and see what you like on! You have the body!

I think you would look great in a paper bag because your confidence really shows through in your pictures. 🙂 But my best advice would be go with a dress that emphasis what you think are your best features: Shoulders, Back, Bust Line, Tiny Waist, etc. Also, think comfort because this will be the best day of your life and you don't want to have to think about what you're wearing when you get down on the dance floor! Best wishes. xo
