It’s officially Monday y’all.
For all of you heading into work I hope it’s a good one!
Mondays are my day off…
and although I would prefer to be lounging around watching Gossip Girl,
I’m actually about to wash all the dishes and finish up the 8 loads of laundry we have.

BUT before I do all that I figured we could chat about Fridays outfit.
This little romper arrived in my shop sometime last week and I am SO in love.
The unique cactus print is ridiculously cute,
I’m all about unique prints that make people do a double take.
The ruffle detailing on the bottom just give it that extra flare that I LOVE.

I wore it with my favorite pair of booties for a more boho look,
but you could easily pair it with some sandals or gladiators to make it more casual..
or even a pair of wedges for a night time look!

Well, I’m off to get all of my wifely duties done…
one being buying groceries..
If anyone has any healthy and simple meal ideas PLEASE send them my way!

A Puppy Play Date.

Yesterday my (soon to be, hopefully) sister in law asked if I could baby sit her puppy!

Her puppys name is Grayson, and Charley and Grayson are the best of friends.

So of course I said yes!

Not only do these pups love each other, 

but their energy is endless.

They literally NEVER stop, ever.

Needless to say, I’m exhausted.

They sure were cute though!

The day began with a few tricks and a few treats.

and a whole lot of running.

It’s been SUPER hot and SUPER humid here in Houston, 

so after about 10 minutes of playing outside they would beg for some AC.

So I’d let them in, and they’d take about a 5 minute break..

Then they were ready to go again!

After watching them suffer in the heat for about an hour I decided to be the “cool aunt”

and whip out the kiddie pool.

Charley didn’t even wait for me to fill it up to jump in,

she is obsessed with the water…

Grayson took a little convincing, but they both loved it!

They had soooo much fun together all day!

This was a good reminder of why I don’t need another dog though…

I always think I want one, but holy cow they are a handful.

BEST surprise of my life.

I have been BEGGING Kyle for a golden retriever for the longest time.

He always told me that I needed to wait unit we have our own house

[we’re renting right now]

and he would always tell me that it’s going to be a year or so,

and to stop getting my hopes up.

I had pretty much given up on asking him and then I walk into our home

yesterday and see the most precious fluffy baby sitting in our living room.

Immediately couldn’t breathe and the tears started coming!

Her name is Charley and she is 7 1/2 weeks old,

and I love her more than anythingggggg!

(except my husband of course)

I can’t believe I have a babyyyy!!

I’m a real mom now!!!….well kind of.

You’ll be seeing a lot more of this precious pup around here!
