I took a little break from blogging the last few weeks,

and I feel like I have SO much to fill y’all in on!

But the most exciting thing is…

My little sister got E N G A G E D!!!!

I had the honor of hiding and capturing the moment for them,

It seriously meant so much to me that Michelle’s fiancé 

trusted me to play such a big role on their special day.

Here’s a little tiny glimpse.

After the proposal he had all of her closest friends and family waiting to surprise her.
He did SUCH a great job!

It is officially engagement season y’all!!

Sneaky Weekend Away.

Kyle and I have been nonstop lately!

I feel like every single weekend there is something going on, 

which definitely isn’t a bad thing, but SHEESH we are tired!!

A couple weeks ago my step mother in law called me and shared some super exciting news with me!

Taryn, Kyles step sister was getting ENGAGED the following weekend and it was a big secret.

So this past weekend Kyle and I headed to the Rio Grande Valley for the surprise!

We got there late Friday evening and didnt have plans until Saturday night!

We spent Saturday at the ranch with Kevin (Kyle’s cousin)

I’ve been dying to shoot my gun lately & Charley got to run her little heart out, 

so it was kind of the perfect afternoon.

We spent the afternoon outdoors at the ranch and then at the pool,

and THEN we got ready for the big surprise…

This Sunday was spent celebrating one of my very best friends engagements!!

Kyle and I spent the morning being lazy and then headed over to Claires parents place around 3.

As soon as I got there I was gifted with a VERY pleasant surprise.

She asked me to be her Matron of Honor and I could NOT be more excited!!

I love this girl with my whole heart, she has been SUCH a good friend to me,

and I’m so thankful to have her in my life!

The day was spent sipping on sangria and chatting with Claire’s closest friends and family.

Saturday we headed over to Claire and Bretts place to celebrate Claire’s birthday!

I met Claire in college and seriously love her to death, 

she is one of the most amazing girls you will ever meet.

Oh, and now that it’s Facebook official SHE’S ENGAGED!

Could not be more excited for them. 

She decided to throw it back to our junior high days when pizza parties were everything,

and let me just tell y’all…I may start doing that for every birthday party of mine from now on.

We had THE best time, of course drinks were involved as well. 

Claire is my first friend to get engaged since I’ve been married and for some reason

it was just so much more exciting for me! 

I guess because I’ve already experienced it and now I REALLY know how it feels

and what a special time in your life it is!

Sooooo I decided to make her this really cute basket!

So simple and cute! We always call each other “kitty girl”, hence the kitty mug. 

Needless to say this weekend wore us out!!!

Oh and, we just found out this morning that we’re moving next week!

Yikes, I’ve got A LOT of work to do.

I’ll fill y’all in on all of the details of our move and why we’re moving tomorrow!
