Kyle won a bunch of rodeo tickets at work and I am WAY too excited about it.

Rodeo season just might be my favorite time of year y’all.

This was our first night of the year and Chris Young was performing,

I never realized how many damn good songs he sings.

It was such an incredible concert.

If you don’t know, now ya know…Chokers are crazy on trend right now.

I’ve been on the search for the perfect chokers to include in my accessory drawer

 and I fell in love with this lace one I found on the Forever21 website.

You will probably feel weird at first and won’t know what outfit is acceptable to wear a choker with…

But pretty much anything works…just go for it 😉

My best girlfriend Claire scored tickets to Rodeo Cook Off Thursday night & invited Kyle and I!

I’ve never actually been to cook off so I was super excited.

We headed over to their place to have a few drinks then took the train to NRG.

We sipped on some beers and listened to some good ol country music.

Claire and I did some dancing while the boys just watched haha

Still working on getting Kyle to come out on the dance floor with me..

That boy is stubborn as all hell when it comes to dancing, oh well.

Ya win some and ya lose some!

On Wednesday Kyle and I headed to the rodeo and met up with one of our favorite couples!

We got there a little early and they were running a little late,

Thankfully Tara and Jonathan were there so we met up with them and hung out

until Claire and her boyfriend got there! 

We grabbed a beer then walked around looking at all of the animals. 

These baby piglets were JUST born that day, how freaking cute are they?!?!

I could go to the rodeo every day if I had the chance, 

I’m really hoping we get to go at least one more time before it ends!

After looking at all the baby animals we headed to grab some food and go to our seats!

I, of course, got the nachos. Pretty sure they were gone within 3 minutes. 

After we finished eating Claire and Brett finally made it!

I met Claire in college and seriously adore her friendship. 

She’s one of the most amazing and sweetest girls you will ever meet, oh, and HILARIOUS.

We chatted and sang the night away, while the boys chatted and drank beer.

After a few beers I was dying for something sweet, so I’m sure you can guess what came next…

Funnel cakes are everything y’all. 

We had such a great time, the rodeo never seems to disappoint.

One of my besties and her boyfriend invited Kyle and I to the rodeo
and we were soooo excited!
I could go to the rodeo every night, I just LOVE it!
We all met at a little mexican spot called Chachos, they are well known for their
cheap & STRONG margaritas, and excellent nachos!
Afterwards we hopped in the car together and headed to the rodeo!

We had SO much fun! 

The seats were awesome and Jake Owens performance was SO good!

After the rodeo we walked around and played same games and ate some corn dogs!

It was such a fun night and I’m sooooo sad that the rodeo is pretty much over 🙁

We definitely have to go more next year.

It’s so weird that Kyle and I have a “baby” now.

Like I HATE leaving her and worry the entire time when we go somewhere.

Thankfully I work from home so she gets a lot of playing time during the day,

but geez she is a hand full! 

But she’s literally the cutest pup in the entire world so even though she can be a pain,

her cuteness makes up for it all <3

Oh and our wedding photos FINALLY came in!

Eeeeee can’t wait to show y’all tomorrow!!!

We headed out to opening night of the Rodeo here in Houston last night!

The weather was awful but we managed to make the best of it.
