Thanksgiving 2017

Thanksgiving weekend has come and gone and I’m totally ready for ALL things Christmas.
I wore this little number on Thanksgiving day,
These ShopPinkBlush maternity tops have been a total lifesaver.
My jeans are also ShopPinkBlush and I wear them multiple times a week….
I mean, I’m pretty sure y’all have seen me talk about them at least 10 times already.
They’re actually making an appearance in tomorrows post as well lol,
Oh and so are these booties…What can I say…I love versatile pieces!!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year which was a FIRST.
Thankfully everyone agreed that we should just make it easy and pick up the meal from Cracker Barrel, because Lord knows this pregnant lady was not about to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner.
Everything turned out great and it was so nice to be at home all day!
We managed to get a little family photo in our office,
Kyle looks a tad awkward & I look like a wale, but hey, we’ll take what we can get! lol

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and of course enjoyed all the awesome
sales going on!
We have a crazy week ahead of us, I’m about to go grab breakfast with a friend and then I’ve got to start outfit planning for our mini babymoon getaway!!
We also have our hospital tour on Wednesday!
Oh, AND we still need to get a Christmas tree….
Okay, actually I’m not even going to start thinking about all of the things I need to do lol
Happy Monday Y’all!!

These boots were made for walkin’…

Happy Monday Y’all!!
I have been DYNG to share this outfit with all of you.
If you follow me on Instagram you probably already saw the sneak peek that I posted yesterday!
I wore this outfit to one of my best friends 30th birthday outings on Saturday,
& I’m totally in love with everything about it.

Okay, let’s get down to business…
I scored this cropped sweater years ago but I linked a bunch of SUPER cute cropped
sweater options for y’all below! This fitted skirt is from ShopPinkBlush, and it’s
unbelievably soft and stretchy! Every item I’ve received from PinkBlush has seriously been so comfy!
The majority of my maternity clothing is from there, and I HIGHLY recommend ordering
from them if you haven’t already. They carry non maternity as well!

Anddddd, last but not least…THESE BOOTS THOUGH.
I received SO many messages when I posted these on Insta stories!
They are hands down the best OTK boots I have ever purchased,
and I can absolutely promise you that you WILL NOT regret ordering yourself a pair.
I wore them all night long and they do not fall whatsoever, and they are super comfortable.
My feet have been killing me since being pregnant and I am honestly SO shocked
to say that my feet felt great on Saturday night.
These boots were like totally/seriously/100% made for walkin’ y’all!
PS: Use code “INSTA14” for $30 off!!

Kyle’s cousin Krissa is one of my very best friends and she turns 30 this week!!
She’s going to be out of town this coming weekend so a bunch of us girls planned
a fun little girls night out for her to celebrate!
It was the first time I’ve actually been “out out” since being pregnant, and oh what an experience it was! haha. Can’t even begin to tell y’all the funny stares and judgmental looks that came my way.
At the end of the night I was standing outside waiting for Kyle to pick me up and
I even caught this girl taking a picture of me!! I noticed her and the group she was with pointing at us, I guess they’ve never seen a pregnant person out past 10pm before? *rolls eyes*
So awkward.
My sweet {and feisty} soon to be sister in law saw the girl do it and ran over and put her in her place.
Needless to say, this mama to be was a tad out of her element, and slightly uncomfortable.
BUT we had such a fun night and I would do it 100x over again for my babe Krissa!
Birthday girl and me are pictured below.

Is Thanksgiving next week already?!
I cannot believe it…time to start preparing and also get some Christmas shopping done!

Okay, on to todays outfit!

//  Dress // Booties // Earrings  // Necklace //

I’ve been eyeing this dress in the rust color for SO long now,
I needed a new dress for a friends wedding this Sunday and they ended up not having my size in the rust color.
Which was actually totally fine because the black was G O R G E O U S.
However, looking back I definitely could’ve gone with the XS instead of the S!
The fit runs big so I would suggest sizing down if you decide to order one.
Okay, let’s talk about these booties…
I caved in and purchased them last year and it was the best decision EVER.
I love the pointed toe, and they are so comfy, even while pregnant I can wear them all day!
I’m definitely going to get them in brown this year, they are a MUST.
I’ll link the brown color for y’all HERE.

We drove back home from Dallas late last night because
we have our 20 week anatomy scan this morning!!
So i’m off to eat a healthy breakfast and get ready to see my baby boy!
Happy Monday y’all!

One dress, styled three ways.

I’ve never been a huge fan of “outfit repeating” but I’ve always been a fan of buying items
that can easily be styled multiple different ways!
Whenever I saw this little OTS dress I knew it was a *must have* this Fall,
not to mention is was only 10 bucks!! I decided to dedicate todays post to styling this dress 3 different ways! I have a feeling you’ll be seeing this dress a lot around here!

Happy Wednesday babes!

I’ve teamed up with the cutest boutique ever and ALL of you
can take 10% off your order with my code “Monica10” (valid for 30 days)!!!

Hope’s has so many cute items but one thing I just HAD to have was this plum laced up sweater.
I ended up getting the size medium because I wanted it to be more of an oversized fit,
and I knew I wanted to wear it off the shoulder!
This sweater comes in 3 different colors, and their items sell QUICK so don’t wait too long to order.

So a “cold front” came in this week and it’s FINALLY below 90 degrees in Houston!!
*Shout out to Jesus*
Kyle and I took the pup for a walk late last night and it felt so dang nice.

Can’t wait to bust out the rest of my sweaters and favorite cozy pieces,
Fall is my F A V O R I T E.
We’re still kind of at that awkward stage in Houston where it’s cold in the mornings and at night,
but you’ll sweat your butt off if you try wearing a sweater in the middle of the day…

But hey i’m not complaining, Cooler weather is right around the corner!
{I hope}

Happy Hump Day!
(PS I’ve worked out every day this week, y’all would be so proud)
